SequentialT donates a portion of proceeds to various people, places and animal causes around the world.

When we began researching charities and causes for SequentialT, it became quickly apparent that there were so many people, places and animals in need, it overwhelmed us. And we figured it would overwhelm you, too. We felt that a better way to help would be to allow SequentialT members to categorize their support based on area of need. And so, we created Causes™, a unique way to provide support with every SequentialT purchase.

Causes™ is divided into three categories, and with every SequentialT purchase, a member selects the one they want a portion of their shirt proceeds to go to:

People:
This category provides charitable contributions that help people in need. Charities will vary but will tackle issues such as famine, malnutrition, medicine, education, disability and assist those affected by war or natural disaster. 

Earth:
This category provides charitable contributions that help places in need. We all know that our planet is hurting now and that we need to invest in solutions that counteract global warming and protect our environment. This category will help organizations that make it their mission to improve conditions on Earth today and fight to provide a sustainable future for us all. 

Animals:
This category provides charitable contributions that help animals in need. For all animal lovers, this category will help animals both wild and domesticated, threatened and farmed. We will donate to organizations that promote animal welfare and combat cruelty. 

When a Cause™ category is selected with each purchase, SequentialT puts a portion of the shirt proceeds in that Cause “bucket”. Once the bucket reaches a certain dollar level, we ask SequentialT members who selected that Cause category to vote on how we should donate the money. Our team researches charities around the globe and puts together a list of options for each Cause category. Each time there’s a vote, members select where the money goes. We repeat the process each time the Cause buckets fill up again.
